After obtaining a master’s degree in Cinema and a professorship at the Cinema University of Buenos Aires, Sebastián Carreras became an Argentinian director and producer that obtain international recognition for creating innovative formats within the film-documentary genre. In 2004 he built Cactus Cine, a company that develops documentaries and fiction feature films that contribute to view the world differently and often placed his products in markets as Asia, Europe and America. Among his most outstanding works are feature films such as "El Camino del Vino" (pass: cactuscine), Winner of the FIPRESCI award at the 25th Mar del Plata International Festival. “Tiger” (Sangre en la boca) sold to international markets and to OTTs platforms like Netflix Worldwide. Ten documentary TV series, including the documentary series “We are Football” with four seasons and twice awarded with the ATVC and DeporTEA award.He has devoloped expertise in documentaries shot in conflict areas -"Peace Soldiers", about the UN Blue Helmets in Cyprus and Haiti is an example and Latin American Presidents, shot in 13 countries, as well as a "Beirut, Buenos Aires Beirut" shot in Lebanon and "Yogacharini" (pass: yoga19) , shot in India. Through Cactus Cine he has produced for NAT GEO, ESPN, History Channel Latin America, Al Jazeera, Argentine Public TV and Red Bull Media House.
